Friday Night Writes
/uploads/2/9/1/3/2913801/friday_night_writes.pdf
THE RULES
Everything contained within Friday Night Writes is a collaborative effort written at Shari's Restaurant late on Fridays (Or the occasional Saturday) late at night after we are dome with our table top gaming. Everyone involved in the experience is considered family.
Everyone is given their own notebook. Each of us starts the story in their own notebook with a paragraph. Then we pass it along to the next person. Some nights we do only one round... but there are ten stories done... One per person at the table. Some nights we take only one notebook and we each pass along a few sentences.
However you decide to do it, you will be surprised what your babbling sparks in the person beside you. For added fun, we put time limits on the write, or a word limit. But my favorite variation is to decide on a theme for the night, then see how far away from that theme we can start the story. This challenges everyone to bring it back to the theme.
So, now you know the rules. You have the ability to take your friends out and start your own Friday Night Writes.
